Interleague Baseball
This weekend marks the first time we see interleague play in 2012. I like it! I look forward to the “Freeway Series” and the “Subway Series” and also the “Battle for Texas”. The best part is watching American League pitchers bat at National League Parks-hilarius. A lot of these AL pitchers were probably stud hitters at some point during their high school and college careers. But, as AL professional pitchers, they never hit and they quickly lose their timing, stance and swing strength. All in all, I think it is good for baseball, I look forward to it and like to see the NL win the majority of the games. NL pitchers have shown some good wood in the past, see Big Z and Mike Hampton.
MIT: The Dodgers and Cards are the only teams not engaging in interleague play, due to the obvious un-balance in the two leagues. Go Dodgers!!
